The Right Week does not set advertising cookies, run behavioural analytics or use affiliate tracking. The only personal information it collects is the email address you choose to give the Field Note newsletter.

Server logs

Like most websites, the hosting server records standard request information such as an IP address, browser identifier, requested page, response status and time. These logs are used to keep the site available, diagnose faults and investigate abuse. They are retained only for as long as operationally necessary.

External links

Guides link to government, weather, tourism and operator websites. Those sites control their own privacy practices. Following a link takes you beyond The Right Week and may allow the destination site to process information under its own policy.

Email and forms

The Field Note newsletter runs on MailerLite, an email service that stores the address you submit and, if you choose to give it, your name, together with a record of your consent. Signup is double opt-in: nothing joins the list until you confirm from your own inbox. That information is used only to send the newsletter. Every email carries an unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately, and you can request full deletion at any time. There is still no live contact form.

Affiliate links

No affiliate links are live. If introduced, they may allow a partner to recognise that a visit came from The Right Week. Commercial links will be labelled and this notice will be updated before they appear.

Your questions

A public editorial and privacy contact is being prepared. The contact page will show it as soon as it is monitored and ready to receive requests.
