The Right Week is an independent travel publication researched and edited in the UK. It was built for people who want a useful answer before they open twelve booking tabs.
What we publish
Each guide begins with a real decision: Madeira or the Canaries for winter light, Kenya or Tanzania for the migration, a named ski area before Christmas, or which Amazon gateway fits the journey you actually want.
The verdict appears early. Weather, routes, prices, safety and the reason to choose something else follow behind it.
Who writes it
Launch-edition guides are credited to The Right Week desk. That means the work is desk-researched from the sources shown, then edited into a recommendation. It does not imply that an unnamed writer personally made the trip.
Where a future contributor brings first-hand experience, their byline and the nature of that experience will be stated plainly.
What independence means here
At launch, The Right Week carries no affiliate links, paid placements or sponsored trips. If that changes, commercial links will be labelled and the recommendation will still be made on usefulness, not commission.

Our editorial standards explain how sources, prices and experience claims are handled. How we fund this records the current commercial position without euphemism.
